Çağatay Özdoğru was born on February 1966 in İstanbul. He graduated from Saint-Benoit French Highschool in 1985. He holds a BS degree in Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering from İstanbul Technical University (1989), an MS degree in Telecommunications Engineering from George Washington University (1991) and an executive-MBA degree in Contemporary Management Techniques from a joint program of University of Maine and Marmara University (1995).
Prior joining Esas Holding, Çağatay Özdoğru worked for Sabancı Holding as the President of IT & Telecommunications Industry from 2002 to 2005. Between 1997-2001, he held various positions at Global One Corporation (today's France Telecom / Orange) where his last post was Vice President of REEMEA region (Russia-East Europe-Middle East & Africa).
He joined Esas Holding in June 2005 as a Member of the Executive Committee. In this role, he managed Esas? retail and healthcare operations, also was a member of the founding team of Electroworld Turkey and carried out new business development activities of Esas. He is appointed as the CEO of Esas effective February 2010.
He is a Board Member of Informatics Foundation of Turkey and Member of National Advisory Council of the School of Engineerind and Applied Science of George Washington University. He is also conducting the post of Chairman of Turkish-Croatian Business Council at Foreign Economic Relations Board.
Çağatay Özdoğru fluently speaks French and English. He is married and has two children.
