Þevket SABANCI
|
Þevket Sabancý was born in Kayseri in 1936. He graduated from Bolton University in the UK with a degree in textile engineering. He worked at Sabancý Holding's textile companies at various managerial positions, after which, in 1980, he started representing Sabancý Holding abroad. Also a founding member of Vaksa, Þevket Sabancý is Vice Chairman of Sabancý Holding, playing an important role in Sabancý Holding's successful progress. Þevket Sabancý initiated ESAS Holding's establishment, and today with his experience and wealth of knowledge, still leads the company as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Þevket Sabancý is married and has three children.
